Emergency Services Water Damage in Morgan Hill
The ruptured water line shot water onto the hardwood flooring in the lower level of this Morgan Hill designer home. The water is visible on the warped floorboards and the water stains on the trim. SERVPRO followed protocols of controlled demolition to remove the water-damaged sheetrock and floor planks. The planks, being strong oak boards, were slowly dried and salvaged for resetting at a future date. The After Photo shows the gutted area around the staircase. All the studs, sill plates, and sheathing have been tried to the standard moisture content of about 10%, and then an antimicrobial spray for future protection was applied. Now the build back can be done, restoring this home to its pre-water loss condition, even better, "Like it never even happened."
